We’ve posted about the Roman suburb of Pigneto before, as it’s where our Creative Director has stayed before many times. Pigneto has recently gained a worldwide reputation as a hipster district, a little rough but edgy, cool and slightly alternative. Amidst this buzz about Pigneto, there’s a little cafe that’s very special to our Creative Director, and it’s this place that we would like to reminisce about: Burro Cream & Coffee.
Burro is located at the corner of Via Braccio da Montone and Circonvallazione Casilina. A cosy little place that you can have coffee, a light breakfast, quick lunch, afternoon tea with pastries, espresso after lunch, work or in the evening. On Sundays, they even serve home made pancakes with fruits. It’s a delightful little local spot run by a small team of local folks. Unassuming, down to earth and welcoming. In fact, words or pictures can’t really describe what this place means to locals, travellers (there are rave online reviews from tourists) and to our Creative Director, but hopefully, these snaps come close. Benvenuto e buon appetito.
